The 130th Anniversary

In association with H Division Crime Club – The official Jack the Ripper Conference returns to London’s East End for the 130th Anniversary of the Whitechapel murders.
A full weekend of events, talks and discussions will be held in the Arbor City Hotel in Osborn Street on the 29th & 30th September 2018. The date of the conference falls on the 130th anniversary of the night of the “Double Event” which saw the Ripper claim the lives of two victims – Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes – in less than 45 minutes.
The venue will be the five star Arbor Hotel, located in Osborn Street which is in the heart of Jack the Ripper’s London and where the Whitechapel murders first began on 3rd April 1888 with the attack on Emma Smith. It is the ideal spot for the main event in the field of Ripperology.
